Stations of the Cross Outside

Congratulations!

Boy Scouts of America Troop 71 of White Rock, New Mexico proudly announces that Benjamin Jean attained the rank of Eagle Scout on May 27, 2024.

Benjamin is the son of Brian and Monica Jean, parishioner of St. Peter’s, and Class of 2024 graduate of Our Lady of Victory Catholic School.

Ben’s Eagle Service Project was the restoration of St. Peter’s Stations of the Cross Trail.

Ben and crew replaced all 15 cross posts, refurbished the housings for the “Stations artwork”, cleaned the artwork and glass, removed moss and overgrown weeds from the brick trail, power washed the benches, and cleaned up the overgrown grotto.

With Special Thanks to the following folks who supported Ben, gave their time and talents to help bring this project to completion:

Deacon Bob Wochner and Father Norbert Rappold

Troop 71 Asst. Scoutmaster Ray Flesner

Joanne, Maria, Johnny, and Cristina Leone
